Few things beat a beer at Schroeder's. Add in a pretzel and it's like magic. And a burger? Then life is grand.

Fantastic business lunch or after work drinks spot. Schroeder's is the west coast's oldest German restaurant, and it's food menu has only gotten better and better.

Went here with coworkers to grab a beer after work and try their famous pretzels. The pretzels were extremely soft and not too salty. The portions are really large so make sure you order accordingly.

Update on my previous review. I am dropping a star because they stopped serving Pilsner Urquell in the Czech style mug and now is served in the German style stein. I still saw some Pilsner Urquell glasses but didn't get a good reason why they stopped using those. Regardless, this is the only beer hall I know in the Bay Area serving Pilsner Urquell so hope people go and support and hopefully we will get the original Czech mug again.
